Dr. Simpson received a medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware. Upon the internship’s completion, she returned to Philadelphia to complete a hematology-oncology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Dr. Simpson is Board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. She is an active member of several professional organizations: the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, the Delaware Society of Clinical Oncology and the Medical Society of Delaware.
